Welcoming our newest Hillel staff

The 2021-2022 school year is almost here, and with it come some exciting staff updates for NC Hillel! UNC Hillel has two new faces and, for the first time ever, Hillel @ NC State will have TWO full-time on-campus staff members.

Sarah Gindes is leading the Hillel @ NC State team as our new Campus Director. She looks forward to co-creating community and a culture of engagement at NC State with an open door.

Joanna Berman, UNC Chapel Hill Hillel’s new Springboard Fellow, is a recent graduate of Tulane, where she majored in business. She is excited to meet Carolina students and take advantage of the learning opportunities within the Springboard Fellowship.

Maura Koenig is joining the UNC Chapel Hill Hillel team as the Director of Student Engagement. She has baked thousands of challah loaves and can’t wait to bring her love of Jewish community to Chapel Hill.

Carson Pinker, Hillel @ NC State’s new Springboard Fellow, is excited to join the Hillel team and begin her career with the Jewish Wolfpack! Carson recently graduated from the University of Miami, where she studied Exercise Physiology.
